天性樂觀開朗的魯凱族公主阿踩，嫁給漢人高雄之後，就過著平淡的日子。每天最大的娛樂，就是準時收看心愛的連續劇《黃蓮苦戀》，她沈迷劇情之深，甚至報名爭取演出女主角黃蓮的姊姊！為了成功擠進演藝圈，阿踩積極參加表演訓練班、拼命甩掉身上的脂肪、瘋狂寄送個人資料給電視台，然而，所有的努力卻都石沉大海……。正當心灰意冷的阿踩決定放棄這個夢想時，原本執意反對的丈夫高雄，竟成功替她爭取到一個「重要」的角色。這一天，阿踩終於要到台北參與《黃蓮苦戀第三季之再見我的媽》的演出，她是否能順利成功呢？

After marring to Kaohsiung, the only sparkle of A-Tsai’s mundane daily life is to watch a cheesy TV soap-opera, “The Unfortunate Love Life of Huanglan.” A-Tsai gets more and more drowned into the storyline and imagines herself being part of it. Thus, A-Tsai decides to take action and applies to the show’s open call of a new role, Hunglan’s sister.
