衝浪好手浩陽發現自己罹患了小腦萎縮症，接下來的日子裡，他將逐漸癱瘓，直到死亡。可能與哥哥罹患相同病變的弟弟浩霆，卻不願做檢測，只急著揮霍現有的生命，瘋狂投入音樂中。獨力將這兩個孩子撫養長大的沈麗萍，是個堅毅母親、強勢的議員，但為了全力治癒孩子的病，導致她荒廢議會工作，而遭媒體輿論的強烈抨擊。當浩陽的生命日記出版時，被讚譽為「勇敢的生命鬥士」的他，即時解除了母親的政治危機。然而，浩陽真正的心願，卻是再次回到他最思念的海洋……。

Hao-yang, a young surfer, is diagnosed with a disease which will make him paralysed and die in the end. His brother refuses to be tested; he throws himself into music, enjoying every moment of his life. In order to save her sons, their mother, a politician, neglects her duty and is attacked by the media. But when Hao-yang’s diary is published, he’s hailed as a fighter and saves his mother’s career.
