小敏和媽媽到綠島旅行，一路上除了欣賞美麗的景緻，媽媽也說了好幾個故事，有的悲傷，有的溫暖，有的讓人迷惘……。小敏不時提出天真的問題，腦海也浮現出自己的想像畫面。原來，那些故事並非虛構，而是確實發生於綠島和台灣的歷史事件。小敏還不是很了解「人權」的完整定義，不過她希望自己永遠是個自由自在的人，不要被傷害、不要被迫與家人分開。隨著小敏的童言童語，《我的人權之旅》以劇情片為基礎，結合真實歷史事件，用最深入淺出的感性方式，填補了台灣長久以來非常缺乏的人權教育空缺。

As a docudrama, My Human Rights Journey pulls the adolescent viewer in through a compelling story. In the Story, Hsiao Min and her mother go on a trip to Green Island to appreciate the island’s unique beauty. There they hear many stories of how Green Island is the living legacy of human rights history! So this is to be a “human rights journey!”
