小燕、阿翔、小怡、小汶、和阿勝，他們是兒福聯盟「家庭重建中心」服務的其中五個失依孩子。十年前，五個不同個性、不同年紀的孩子，在921這一天，失去他們的小世界、失去摯愛的雙親和手足。十年後，他們已經不再是當年驚慌失措的孩子，他們對家人的思念和天搖地動那一刻的記憶，也許永遠停留在原點；但他們的成長、他們的未來、他們的生活點滴，都依然是進行式……。2009年，921地震後十年，本片娓娓道來這五個孩子的十年成長。期待透過他們的生命旅程、他們的勇敢與堅強，為災難中的小島，帶來最真實動人的鼓勵。

The 921 chi-chi earthquake caused 134 children becoming orphans. Social workers at Child Welfare League Foundation have been offering services to these children. Ten years after, most of these children have been starting a new life with hopes and memories. This documentary with five orphans’ true story, hoping to encourage people by their recovering and their bravery.
